About US

            Sto. Niño Elementary School was formerly called Sto. Niño Community School. It was put up in 1992, through the joint effort of the late Barangay Chairman, Col. Jesus V. Bermudez and Kagawad Ernesto Orsine. It started with Grade I class, housed in Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall.

            It was considered and recognized by DECS as an extension / annex of San Mateo Elementary School, a central school with Mr. Jose San Miguel as the school head. The school became a complete elementary school in 1997 with Mrs. Romana A. Manansala as the school head with 6 teachers. From then on, the school was called STO. NIÑO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL,which is being used up to the present.

          The school is situated in a private subdivision, MODESTA VILLAGE, town of San Mateo which belongs to the Second Congressional District. The school is being managed by the current schoolhead, DR. MARLON S. MARQUEZ with 57 teachers and 4 support personnel, a clerk, a janitor and the school guard provided by the Municipality of San Mateo, occupying a non – permanent positions.
