Turn Over Ceremony
Our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed and rearranged to relocate us to the place we are meant to be. But we are open for possibilities, for choices and we always welcome new ideas. We are always eager to learn and never going to close our mind from learning. Our leader build character, inspires dreams, encourages creativity, builds confidence, instills a lot of learning, touches our hearts and changes our lives forever.
Sto. Nino Elementary School marked the Turn - Over Ceremony of Mrs. Lydia M. Palileo, outgoing Principal and Mr. Marlon S. Marquez, incoming Principal last October 26, 2018. It was witnessed by our District Supervisor, School Heads of different schools of San Mateo II District, GPTA Officers, teachers, parents and pupils. The program was formally started with the singing of National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Marissa A. Amancio, a Grade IV teacher followed by an opening prayer led by Ms. Richell B. Dionio, a Grade III teacher. A heartfelt welcome remark was expressed by our Teacher –in- Charge, Mrs. Lydia M. Palileo. She presented the development of the school projects and programs being implemented.
It was followed by an inspirational message from our beloved District Supervisor, Dr. Flora V. Caron. She emphasized in her message that every great leaders inspires greatness in others, and she also added that everyone should continue imparting good attitude and actions in education for the betterment of school and most especially for the learners.
The highlight of the program is the turning over of duties and responsibilities to the incoming principal. Afterwards, a short message was given by Dr. Marlon S.Marquez. He placed emphasis on continuing the vision and goal of the school to achieve quality education for the school and the learners. Mr. Jeremias Sunaz, the President of General PTA, gave his warmest gratitude to Mrs. Palileo for giving them an unending support to their projects. He also welcomed Mr. Marquez and stated that they will continue to serve the school which will be benefited by both the teachers and the pupils.
Lastly, the Faculty Club President, Mr. Roberto Eurolfan, expressed thanks to our dear principals as they continue encouraging every teachers and learners to attain the set goals of the school.
The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant. If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.
