Sports is one way not only to show the skills and talents of the students but also to develop the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among individuals.
Sto. Niño Elementary School conducted its Intramurals activity on July 16-18, 2019. The said activity is spearheaded by the school principal Dr. Marlon S. Marquez with the help of the MAPEH Department. Games were played from the different events until it reaches the final games to determine the champion of each competition. These games were as follows: Badminton, chess, volleyball, dance sports, track and field, tennis and sepak takraw.
The school not only conducted sports activities but the dance contest as well. This is very crucial because we truly believe that the learners are diverse in many ways thus, it is true that not all students are adept in the field of sports. Therefore, it is essential that we conduct differentiated activities to cater the skills and talents the students have.
The final part of the activity is the declaration of the winners wherein these victors will compete to the district intramural meet. However, those who failed in the said activity were also recognized for their efforts and active participation.
