HISTORY MONTH 2019

“History cannot give us a program for the future, but it can give us a fuller understanding of ourselves, and of our common humanity, so that we can better face the future.” – Robert Penn Warren

Sto. Niño Elementary School celebrated the History Month on August 15, 2019 with a theme “Kasaysayan: Bahagi ng ating Nakaraan, Gabay sa Kinabukasan”. This event was headed by our dearest school principal, Dr. Marlon S. Marquez, with the help of the Araling Panlipunan school coordinator, Ma’am Selle Gutierrez Narce.

Truly, aiming for the best will put you to the place where you wanted to go. That’s what the pupils from different grade level did as they #conquerthescaletogrowandsoarhigher on the event’s activities. Few succeeded and most of them failed but the most important thing is they all learned.

These activities are as follows: Quiz bee, poster and slogan making. Those who won the contests were chosen to compete for district level. These talented pupils who brought home the bacons were Sofia Andrei Relunia (grade 6 quiz bee), Clyde Nicole Tenedero (grade 5 quiz bee 1st place), Carl Michael Amancio (poster making champion). Indeed, their mentors, Ma’am Farrah Mae Gorospe, Ma’am Selle Gutierrez Narce, and Ma’am Richelle Ann Eurolfan, were truly creative and skilled in teaching and guiding them.

Sto. Niño ES will always be grateful and proud for all of your achievements. Continue to conquer the scale, grow stronger, and soar higher!
